Camps and Clinic General Information

Participation

Duke Lacrosse Camps for Girls are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and gender.

Staff

The staff for the 2022 Winter Camps includes the entire DUKE staff: Kerstin Kimel, Head Coach and assistant coaches Nick Williams, Brooke Griffin, and Morgan Heisman along with other Division 1 coaches including East Carolina, Elon, George Mason, High Point, James Madison, and Richmond. The remainder of the staff will be made up of current Duke Women’s Lacrosse players as well as other collegiate players.

Facilities

The Cohan fields on Duke’s West Campus are home to the Duke Lacrosse Camps. The campus includes two lighted full playing turf fields, two full size grass fields and Koskinen Stadium, which is home game field for the Duke Women's Lacrosse team.

Accommodations & Meals

All 2022 clinics and showcases will be commuter only, there will be no housing offered for participants. Check the Travel tab for suggested local hotels.

Confirmation Information & Forms

All participants will receive a CONFIRMATION E-MAIL once registration & payment are processed. Additional details will be emailed to that same address a week before the event.

Medical/Waiver is completed during online registration; no additional information is required unless something with your medical status changes!

Directions to Cohan Athletic Fields: 110 Frank Bassett Drive, Durham NC

From the South:

Take I-85 North to the NC 751/Duke University exit. Turn right on 751 and follow it about three miles. Turn left on Science Drive and take the first right on Bassett Dr.

From the North:

Take I-85 South to Highway 15-501 South in Durham. Follow 15-501 to NC 751 (Duke University West Campus) and follow it about one mile. Turn left on Science Drive and take the first right on Bassett Dr.

From the East:

Take I-40 West to Highway 15-501 exit and turn right. Follow 15-501 bypass to NC 751 exit and turn right. Turn left on Science Drive and take the first right on Bassett Dr.

From the West:

Take I-40 East to Highway 15-501 exit and turn left. Follow 15-501 bypass to NC 751 exit and turn right. Turn left on Science Drive and take the first right on Bassett Dr.

Cancellation Policy

If injuries, sickness or circumstances make it impossible for you to attend our camp, we must be notified in writing prior to the start in order to issue a refund, OR you may opt for a credit to your account to be used at a future clinic/showcase. If injuries, sickness or circumstances do not permit you to cancel prior to the start, we will apply the entire fee towards a future clinic/showcase and you will not be eligible for a refund. Balances and deposits are transferable to siblings or family members ONLY! If you do not, or cannot, attend a future camp, you will not be eligible to receive a refund. Cancellations can be emailed to dukewlax@duke.edu.

Duke Lacrosse Camp for Girls may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or public health emergencies. In the event this would occur, Duke Lacrosse Camp for Girls would refund the camp tuition cost, minus processing fees.
